The thing I want to talk about is what the racebent casting criticisms of Persuasion, Hamilton, Bridgerton, Sanditon, Mr. Malcolm’s List, and many others have in common – they are often racist dog whistles, upholding a long tradition of gatekeeping in the community and continuing white supremacy.

I’ve written a book…now what?
So, I’ve written my book. But what do I do next? When I started this journey more than five years ago now, I thought that the hardest part would be fining 100K+ words to put down in a row that told something of a coherent story. I’ve since found out that writing the book was the easy part.
